Portugal 1980

Portugal had failed to qualify for the WC 1982 in Spain and was in a difficult situation for the Euro Qualifier 1984 in France.
When the last matchday came, Portugal was one point behind the USSR, that needed a draw to go through. Portugal, that had lost 0:5 on sovjet soil, made the unbelievable come true and won the match 1:0 with a goal from the panalty spot by Jordão.
This was the time when the above shown type of shirts was used. To be more precise between 1980 and 1983. As usual Portugal played most of the matches in it´s home outfit, but also wore the away strip for a few times.
Unfortunately i don´t know the player who wore this shirt.
