Portugal 1980 - Morato

 

 

Algum tempo atrás ja tinha apresentado uma camisola utilizada por António Morato, que pode encontrar aqui. 

Temos aqui mais um modelo parecido com o que ja referi antes. Mas neste caso tem algumas diferenças. Algumas bem visíveis, outras menos. As mais obvias encontram-se nos números utilizados, que tinham uma fonte diferente e, ao contrário da outra camisola, foram estampados em vez de cosidos. 

Outra diferença encontra-se na frente. O emblema da Federação mostra aínda o escudo, que assim foi utilizado até 1980/81. Por isso esta camisola é mais antiga que a outra.

Resta explicar uma diferença escondida. Apesar do aspecto igual á outra, esta não foi produzida pela Adidas. O que acontecia muitas vezes antigamente foi que empresas nacionais "copiavam" as camisolas das grandes marcas e vendiam por preços mais accecíveis. Como aínda não havia contratos de fornecimento de material desportivo, optava-se pelas empresas que ofereciam ao melhor preco. Esta camisola foi produzida pela empresa Carné e utilizada por Morato enquanto jogador junior. 

 

Some time ago i already showed a shirt worn by António Morato that you can find here. So today i will only talk about the shirt itself.

The shirt above looks pretty similiar to the one mentioned above but has a few differeces. Some a clearly visible, others not. Let`s start with the obvious ones. Te number on the back. apart of a different font, this one is printed while the other one was stiched on. 

The next differece is the crest on the front. As it is the one used until 1980/81, it helps to set this one being older than the other one. 

Then we have a hidden difference. It may look like an Adidas shirt, and only by looking close you will note some differeces in the material. But it was made by portuguese company Carné. In times when outfitter contracts did not exist for all teams, you bought where it was cheaper. You will find many shirts, especially used by junior teams, that were not made by Adidas, but look like.

Benfica 2024 - Anatolij Trubin

 

 

 

Depois desta semana passada, e com o jogo ao que tivemos o privilégio de assistir ao vivo ou na TV, não posso escolher outra camisola a não ser uma do nosso herói Anatolij Trubin. Não é que os restantes jogdores não cumpriram, mas a situação em que um guarda-redes marca um golo, e para mais um tão importante, é um feito extraoridnário e põe-o um pouco mais alto que os outros.

Ora bem, Anatolij Trubin chegou ao S.L. Benfica no verão de 2023, vindo da Ucrania do Shakhtar Donezk. Como todos sabemos a situação na Ucrânia está muito complicada e para ele aínda um pouco mais, porque deixou para trás amigos e família. Mesmo assim, quem segue um pouco o seu caminho, sabe, que não deixa escapar uma oportunidade para alertar sobre a vida lá, tal como ajudar pessoas e o povo onde pode no seu país natal. 

Em Donezk estreou-se em 2019, tornando-se titular pouco depois. Um facto interessante foi a sua estreia na Liga dos Campeões em 2020, que foi contra o Real Madrid. Nos dois jogos então, o Shakhtar venceu ambos. 

Depois da saída de Vlachodimos Odysseas, Trubin começou como substituto de Samuel Soares. A equipa técnica sob Roger Schmidt, quiz lhe dar tempo suficiente de adaptação, mas não tardou muito antes de agarrar o lugar de titular, que foi ja na quinta jornada, num jogo contra o Vizela. 

Ele destaca-se pelo jogo na linha e excelentes reflexos. Com apenas 24 anos ja mostra maturidade e experiência que foi útil varias vezes.

Na quarta-feira então também se estreou a marcar um golo. Mas não foi de penalty. Foi de livre, marcado por Frederik Aursnes, que conseguiu mesmo cabecear para o fundo das redes nos últimos segundos do jogo. Esse golo permitiu ao Benfica alcançar os play-offs como 24° classificado, onde voltaremos defrontar o Real Madrid. 

Esta camisola foi utilizada por ele num jogo da Liga durante a época 24/25.

 

After this week, and after the match on wednesday that we had the privilege to assist, it was a no-brainer to post a shirt of our hero Anatolij Trubin. It´s not about the fact that the others didn`t deliver (right by the opposite), but the fact that a goalie scores, and such an importat one, makes hin stand out of the rest of the team. 

Well, Anatolij Trubin arrived at Benfica in 2023 for a fee of €10m, coming from Shakthar Donezk in Ucraine. Coming out of the country under militray attack for 1.5years at that time, and leaving behind familiy and friends for sure was a cultural shock, but who follows him knows, that he might have left the country but never left Ucraine. Any possibility to bring up the situation in his homecountry or to help, he takes it. 

He made his debut for Shakhtar in 2019, before becoming first choice in the 2020/21 season. His first match in the Champions League was, coincidence or not, the same opponent as las Wednesday, Real Madrid. Back then, Shakhtar won both encounters. 

When he arrived in Lisbon, he was supposed to become the predecessor of Odysseas Vlachodimos, but at first he got his time to adapt to the new surroundings and people. He had his starting debut for Benfica in September 2023, when Benfica faced Vizela in the League. 

His main assets are his capabilities on the line and his excellent reflexes. With only 24 years he also shows maturity and experience that was helpful a few times already. 

On wednesday he had another deput, as a scorer. And it was not a penalty goal as quite a few goalies already enjoyed. He managed to head a pinpoint freekick of Frederik Aursnes into the net, in the last seconds of the match. Benfica needed this goal to get access to the play-off phase, and managed to do so as last qualified team, where Benfica will meet Real Madrid again.  

The shirt was worn by hin during a league match in the 24/25 season.
