Portugal 1980 - Morato

 

 

Algum tempo atrás ja tinha apresentado uma camisola utilizada por António Morato, que pode encontrar aqui. 

Temos aqui mais um modelo parecido com o que ja referi antes. Mas neste caso tem algumas diferenças. Algumas bem visíveis, outras menos. As mais obvias encontram-se nos números utilizados, que tinham uma fonte diferente e, ao contrário da outra camisola, foram estampados em vez de cosidos. 

Outra diferença encontra-se na frente. O emblema da Federação mostra aínda o escudo, que assim foi utilizado até 1980/81. Por isso esta camisola é mais antiga que a outra.

Resta explicar uma diferença escondida. Apesar do aspecto igual á outra, esta não foi produzida pela Adidas. O que acontecia muitas vezes antigamente foi que empresas nacionais "copiavam" as camisolas das grandes marcas e vendiam por preços mais accecíveis. Como aínda não havia contratos de fornecimento de material desportivo, optava-se pelas empresas que ofereciam ao melhor preco. Esta camisola foi produzida pela empresa Carné e utilizada por Morato enquanto jogador junior. 

 

Some time ago i already showed a shirt worn by António Morato that you can find here. So today i will only talk about the shirt itself.

The shirt above looks pretty similiar to the one mentioned above but has a few differeces. Some a clearly visible, others not. Let`s start with the obvious ones. Te number on the back. apart of a different font, this one is printed while the other one was stiched on. 

The next differece is the crest on the front. As it is the one used until 1980/81, it helps to set this one being older than the other one. 

Then we have a hidden difference. It may look like an Adidas shirt, and only by looking close you will note some differeces in the material. But it was made by portuguese company Carné. In times when outfitter contracts did not exist for all teams, you bought where it was cheaper. You will find many shirts, especially used by junior teams, that were not made by Adidas, but look like.
